Lately, it feels like everyone is tired. Not “I didn’t sleep well” tired, but the kind of bone-deep exhaustion that comes from carrying too damn much for too damn long.
That’s what Faith and Becky talk about in today’s episode of Feminist Founders. It’s a reflection of a small focus group we hosted last week called The Weight We Carry.
We invited folks to talk with us about invisible labor—emotional, logistical, and caretaking work that keeps our families, businesses, and communities running, but rarely gets acknowledged, let alone shared.
The conversation was honest, tender, and powerful. One person said something that hit us right in the chest:
“I refuse to participate in my own sacrifice.”
That’s the heart of this work.
Releasing the guilt.
Recognizing that it’s systemic, not personal.
Learning to trust that things won’t fall apart if we stop holding everything up on our own.
➡️ If this resonates:
Faith and Becky are inviting a small group to go deeper together in a new experience starting in November.
It’s called Releasing the Weight, a group program with live sessions, community support, and practical guidance to help you identify and release the invisible labor weighing you down.

Let’s stop normalizing exhaustion.
Let’s stop mistaking over-functioning for strength.
Let’s stop carrying it all alone.
