If you feel like traditional definitions of success just don’t fit—like they're more about ticking boxes in a capitalist playbook than actually building a life and business that feels good—you’re not alone.
Today, I’m kicking off a month-long interview series featuring powerhouse women (and a token man) who are challenging the status quo and reimagining what it means to succeed on their own terms.
Every Monday-Thursday until Sept. 19th, I’ll be releasing a fresh interview with a leader who is flipping the script on conventional success. For this first week, we’ve got a lineup that’ll have you ready to burn down the old rulebook.
Week One Highlights: Meet the Game-Changers
Day 1 (Today): Chrissy King
We’re kicking things off with , a fierce advocate for redefining how we view our bodies. Chrissy takes us on a deep dive into what body liberation really means and why it’s essential for all of us—not just as individuals, but as a collective.
For Chrissy, liberation isn’t just about loving your body; it's about dismantling the oppressive systems that have conditioned us to be at war with our bodies.
"Liberation is about freedom—freedom from harm, discrimination, and systems of oppression. It’s about understanding that we deserve to exist in whatever body we have, and that every version of ourselves is worthy and deserving of respect,” she says.
Chrissy shares her personal journey toward body liberation, and offers practical advice for anyone on the same path. She also reminds us that this journey is both personal and collective, urging us to consider the most marginalized among us in our quest for freedom. "Our liberation is tied to one another. None of us are free unless all of us are free.”
Day 2 (Tuesday): Kelsey Blackwell
Tomorrow features , a somatic practitioner and author who is leading the charge in decolonizing the body. If you’ve ever felt that gnawing sense of disconnection—from your body, your ancestry, or even from the natural world—this conversation will resonate deeply.
"Colonization is inherently an assault on the body...we lose a relationship to what it means to be human bodies that are inherently in relationship with the Earth,” Kelsey says.
Kelsey’s work is centered on healing this disconnection, and she offers powerful insights on how to begin this journey—starting with the simple yet profound act of listening to your body.
We also explore the significance of ancestral healing, a practice Kelsey finds essential for everyone, regardless of their background. “We all have ancestors who at some point, engaged in earth-honoring practices...and then something comes in and disrupts that or disconnects our people from those practices. The work is about weaving back in what has been lost,” she explains.
Day 3 (Wednesday): Deepshikha Sairam
Next up is the transformative work of , a spiritual mentor. This conversation is a no-BS exploration into decolonizing the self, embracing the sacred feminine, and breaking free from the patriarchal chains that bind us.
“Striving for self-love is a psy-op by patriarchy because if you are going to always strive for self-love, you will always buy more and more things… But self-love is a utopia,” Deepshikha says.
Instead, she advocates for a radical shift towards self-acceptance and self-compassion, a paradigm change that redefines how we approach personal development.
This shift isn’t just about semantics; it’s a call to action. Deepshikha shares her journey from being a successful business mentor to questioning the very foundations of her success, leading her to discover the sacred feminine.
If you’ve ever felt that flat, stale sensation she describes—like a glass of sparkling water left out overnight—this interview will shake you awake.
Day 4 (Thursday): Erica Courdae
Closing out the week is , who takes us on a journey into the often-misunderstood realm of shadow work. Erica holds space for deep, sometimes uncomfortable exploration with compassion and grace.
Erica says shadown work is “the act of exploring who and how you are within the frequently unexplored parts of yourself. It’s about processing the experiences that shape you, especially those tucked away in the shadowy corners of your mind.”
Erica emphasizes that unprocessed experiences can resurface in unexpected ways, affecting our ability to connect with and trust others.
“In order to figure out how to better combine with others, how to be more open to being a part of an interdependent unit...we have to identify where some of our traumas are and how they have caused us to feel like we have to only depend on ourselves and cannot trust others,” she explains. This isn’t just personal work—it’s collective healing.
Erica’s insights make shadow work accessible, even for those who might find the ideaintimidating. “Life is scary sometimes,” she says. “And evolution and growth do not happen staying in the comfortable parts of life or of ourselves.”
