Feminist Founders Audio Summit
Week 4 features Feminista Jones, Josie Cox, Andréa Jones and Helen Tremethick
This week’s lineup for the Feminist Founders Audio Summit is nothing short of powerful.
We’re tackling critical topics at the intersection of feminism, business, and activism, and the insights are both inspiring and actionable.
Here’s what you can expect in Week 4 from our incredible guests: Feminista Jones, Andréa Jones, Helen Tremethick, and
of .Josie Cox of kicked off the week by exploring how systemic barriers continue to hold women back financially. She shared actionable steps for breaking through these limitations.
Drawing from her book by the same name as her Substck, she examines why the gender pay gap persists and how women can challenge the structures that undermine their economic power.
As Josie says, “Empowering women economically benefits everyone—whether it’s through GDP growth or creating healthier workplaces.”
On Tuesday, Feminista Jones brought her signature blend of boldness and wisdom to the conversation. She shared her evolving relationship with Black feminism, the importance of public scholarship, and how she sees herself as part of the 21st-century Black feminist narrative.
Feminista also challenged the status quo on representation and leadership, pushing us to think critically about the spaces we occupy and how we show up in them.
One of her key takeaways: “Leading by example means showing up authentically, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s how we push for real change.”
Midweek, Helen Tremethick shifted our focus to regenerative business, a concept that goes beyond sustainability to truly improve upon itself.
Helen explains how entrepreneurs can build businesses that nurture not only their financial goals but also their well-being, families, and communities. Her background in permaculture informs this holistic approach, which is all about creating businesses that thrive in harmony with the ecosystems around them.
Helen’s advice? “It’s not just about sustaining—it’s about building something that nurtures you, your community, and your values.”
Finally, today is my conversation with Andréa Jones, who breaks down her transition from traditional marketing strategies to a values-driven approach she calls Mindful Marketing. Andrea talks about rejecting the hustle culture of marketing and instead building relationships and creating value in ways that feel aligned and authentic.
If you’re tired of the aggressive, scarcity-driven marketing techniques we’ve been taught, Andrea’s thoughtful and reflective take will resonate with you.
As Andrea puts it, “Marketing doesn’t have to be about pushing or faking urgency. It can be about integrity, relationships, and creating real value—on your own terms.”
